The European Cross Country Championship is the biggest European Off road series (measured in participants). The series is being held in national divisions in Germany as German Cross Country Championship (GCC), in Austria as Austrian Cross Country Championship (ACC) and in Italy as Italian Cross Country Championship (ICC).

Format: Two-hour races across a ca. 8 km long Motocross-type course with Enduro/Off road sections and artificial obstacles. Seven individual races per race weekend.

Germany (GCC): 7 race weekends per year
Austria (ACC): 6 race weekends per year
Italy (ICC): 5 race weekensds per year
The European Cross Country Champion is being determined during an international finale.

Altogether ca. 1,800 bike and quad/ATV pilots enter the series, amateurs and pros, often factory and official teams among them.

Germany (GCC) 2010: ca. 1,200 entries
Austria (ACC) 2010: ca. 400 entries
Italy (ICC) 2010: ca. 200 entries
